Jean-Marie Putz

At the second tasting, the same first impression of being in front of a brilliant bottle.
A little malt mixed with a little salt. Exotic fruit blend subtly enough to slight hints of spicy smoke in the mouth.
An outstanding final in its length and the pleasure it provides.

A very nice nose, with hints of coconut and beeswax, exotic fruits and spices and curiously discreet, hints of coffee.
The palate is very fresh and beautiful complexity.
The finish is long and warm, with nice hints of coconut and a sense of calvados in the background. After a few minutes, notes of coffee from the nose to surface.

The first impression is good ... as is often the case for exceptional whisky. The nose feasts on all the aromas that blend in this very complex and balanced whisky.
The palate detects both spicy notes mingled with the malty sweetness while detecting slight hints of peat and iodine. The finish is exceptionally long and pleasant.
A wonderful bottle price as only negative. A counselor at all, but unfortunately not within reach of every budget.

On the nose, very fresh, with fruity notes reminiscent of both apple and coconut on a background of very light smoke. A very complex nose.
In the mouth, coconut and calvados are very present, with hints of spice and clearly a little dry.
A final long enough where all the scents and tastes are reviewed. An excellent whisky.
