Pleasant smells of biscuits, cinnamon and malt flatter the nose first. The nose is more balanced than complex. A noses in the tradition of Glengoyne ... very nice and no big surprises.
The mouth prolongs perfectly the nose. Beautiful notes of hazelnut, biscuit give this whisky this perfectly balanced without complexity character. In this case we can easily do without this complexity, as tastes are pleasant. One does not seek pleasure in the surprise, but in the perfect balance of what was in the mouth.
Nice finish, long and warm. Still the same feeling of fullness, without being aggressive or surprise.
