The first nose is aggressive. Significant prickling that fade after a few minutes, thankfully. Beyond first medicinal impressions , very original and interesting bitter freshness that gradually takes over. A mixture of menthol and gentian.
The nose is complex as desired, and the bitter notes of gentian evolve slowly downright woody notes.
On the palate, there is a firework of sensations. It starts, as was the case for the nose by a certain aggressiveness, then quick contrasts between the wood and freshness take it over, making it very nice and complex. An explosion of flavors. A truly exceptional complexity. A big moment, at least after the first surprise was over.
The finish is unfortunately rather pale after this exuberant palate. A mouth like leaves little room for a final ... It is relatively short, but especially marked by the freshness, always mixed with some notes slightly woody.
