The nose is at the same time marked by the sweetness of the honey, the delicacy of the flowers and a slight tingling due to the alcohol content. A slight hint of spice.
In the mouth, it is first of all a very nice impression of honey and fruit mixture with a woody taste (certain bitterness) that quickly gives way to softer malty notes. The presence of alcohol is clearly noticeable.
The finish is soft and of medium length tending to be forgotten, but returning to the charge after a few moments.

This Cask Strength version of Gordon & McPhail is notable for its balance in the nose and mouth. A sweet blend of peat and smoke with distinctly milder notes of malt. I suspect a slight change in taste by the addition of caramel ...
A long and very nice finish. Another bottle we do not regret having bought, even if we do not necessarily find it easily.

A rather marked nose with slightly acidic notes (citrus), probably due to the fairly high alcohol content eventually reveals floral notes whose sweetness contrasts with the first impression.
In the mouth, a first impression is that the alcohol content masks all the nuances. These reappear after a few seconds and confirm the impression of the nose.
A long and pleasant finish returning to malt.

The nose is quite sweet and floral, although it is a little marked by alcohol that causes slight tingling.
In the mouth a wonderful complexity, ranging from the sweetness of honey to the acidity of citrus fruits, through a multitude of pleasant impressions.
A long and slightly bitter finish comes to cap it all.
