Color: White wine
Iodine, peat and some smoke characterize this very promising nose. Cold ashes on a beach barbeque. This nose is very enticing if not very complex. Nice balance.
A first impression somewhat austere but soon evolving into beautiful notes of barbecue, nice notes of dry peat and dark chocolate. Very nice balance, too.
The finish is lingering. It is also dominated by these ashen hints. Surprisingly complex this final, when neither the mouth nor the nose prepared us to this.
