A wonderfully spicy nose where fruity notes compete with pepper, spearmint, hints of eucalyptus. Very nice balance between all these sensations, even if a certain ardor seems to denounce the ardor of a too great youth.
After such a nose, the mouth is a little disappointing, because here the youth seems to take precedence over all the qualities detected by the nose. Some lack of balance, hints of yeast at first contact. Fortunately these notes disappear quickly enough to make room for a slight metallic bitterness. A malt with great potential undeniably, but which seems to have left his birthstone a few years too early.
The final is of medium length, on the whole rather discreet once the first seconds passed. These first moments prolong with a certain aggressiveness of short duration the metallic bitterness that appears at the end of the mouth.
Wonderful nose. Too bad neither the mouth nor the final are of the same level. Probably a little too young to be bottled.
