Jean-Marie Putz

Quite a nice fruity nose (ripe banana's), fresh and relatively complex. Nice smoothness and some late notes of peat and smoke.
The mouth is rather different from the nose, with it's chocolate motes completing the fruity ones which dominated the nose. Here too, nothing wrong. Very pleasant mouth, slightly more complex than the nose was. Discrete bitterness. Nice whole.
The finish is long and warm, and the mouth impressions are still present, specially the slightly bitter chocolate.

Jean-Marie Putz

Very nice nose, fruity while presenting discrete smoky notes and some bitter hints, walnut and a touch of woody influence. A banana with coffee and milk.
The first impression in the palate is very pleasant. This malt presents a nice complexity, even if the papilla's have to play with relatively close tastes, dominated by hazelnut and a touch of chocolate.
Lingering and warm finish, obviously present. The chocolate, or toasted malt notes clearly dominate the whole. An excellent finish.
Very nice bottle for a very friendly price.
