Techniquement, le Clynelish Giaccone que j’ai splitté était du Brora - car c’était du distillat datant de 1961, donc du temps du Clynelish original, aka Old Clynelish, aka Brora

Sauf erreur de ma part, ces 12 ans sont plus vieux que l'âge sur l'étiquette.
Donc le distillat est au plus jeune de 1961 mais probablement majoritairement des années 50.

Je ne sais plus du tout ou j'ai lu ça par contre.

Qu as Tu pensé du sonoma bourbon ?

J'aime beaucoup. Ils m'ont demande quelque chose d'herbeux et j'ai un peu butte. Les rares choses auxquelles je pensais etaient difficile d'acces. Et puis je me suis souvenu de ce bourbon qui est tres aromatique. La douceur du mais/fut neuf n'arrive qu'en finale, donc c'est moins fatigant et monotome.
Cela dit, je l'ai deja servi en degustation et c'etait tres clivant, avec des gens qui ne savaient vraiment pas qu'en penser.

Oui, je dois dire que j'avais beaucoup aimé moi,
d'ailleurs S.V lui avait collé un 90.
Pour le prix, c''est pas déconnant...

Oui, c'est probable, et apparemment courant à l'époque - les 5 et 12 ans contenant en général une bonne proportion de whiskies plus vieux à l'intérieur. D'où la réputation des Clynelish 5 et 12 en white label, et les premiers 12 bicolores.

J'arrive même pas à concevoir comment c'est possible d'avoir des quilles pareilles de nos jours.

Oui, parce qu’à l’époque personne n’aurait mis un prix pareil pour la bouteille

J'ai arrêté de lire au Talisker 1905.

Sinon hier j'ai senti que mon rhume partait sur la gorge, alors que je sortait de la dernière angine il y a à peine 15j.
Ni une ni deux, j'ai tapé dans le stock non identifié de sample et bu presque d'un trait les 6cl de Benrinnes du Blind 2019.

Ma note n'a pas changé et ma gorge va bien mieux ce matin, merci au sampleur.
