A smell of barbecue ashes immediately gives the pitch. This is a nice peaty whisky. Beyond the peat, nice fresh fruity notes (smoked kiwi..?)
In the palate, the same peat is very present and the whole is relatively complex: fruit, pepper and peat.
The lingering finish is marked by this interesting mix of peat and peppery fruits.

A nose clearly marked by smoke and peat, with indisputable marine influences. A very nice and complex nose. The palate is relatively complex too, going form sweet notes to clearly salted touches, with always some woody or nutty hints on the background. Sometimes, a fleeting impression of acid drop behind a veil of smoke. The finish is very pleasant, of average length, and continues on bitter woody notes.

Even if this happens not often, I have nothing to add to my previous comment about this nice bottle. I could however mention some citrus hints in the finish, I didn't describe the first time.
