Price of the publicity banners

The whys and the wherefores of the publicity on this site are explained elsewhere on this site. Just a few more words about the how much.
The philosophy behind this site has never been commercial and the goal is not to earn money with it, even if it represents a considerable help for the whisky industry and the spirit retailers.
Being aware of what this site represents to professionals, and of the promotional impact it can have, I thought it would be possible to find some financial aid, largely offset by the impact of a targeted ads campaign to help me supporting the considerable costs the maintenance and the updates of such a site represents.

As the number of visitors on the site has dramatically increased over the last years, the price for new advertisers will be amended by September 1, 2010

Location of the banners

Where can your ads be placed?

The site is bilingual, French and English. Visits of pages in both languages are perfectly balanced, e.g. about 50/50. Statistical figures are available on demand.
Two types of banners of different sizes and displayed on different places are available on the site.


Choice of the banners

The indicated tariff is by banner. In order to avoid pages to be invaded by advertisement, and as a consequence discourage people to come back again, the banners are of a predefined size.
The choice possibilities are:

  • Banners centered on top of pages, 3 abreast (200x75):





Remark

If you like, you can make your banners by yourself, and in this case please keep in mind the given size of the banner is mandatory (or they will be reduced in order to fit the placeholders), or www.whisky-distillery.info can do the job for you. Banners can be images, text or even a flash animation. Making banners is at no supplementary charge (except if it takes an significant extra-time to realize). The banners and their display can be placed on a test page, and will not be billed (an put into production) before they are approved. They will only be placed on regular pages after reception of the payment.
Price are given by campaign, and it is possible at any moment to change the banner at no additional charge (unless realisaton of a new banner costs significant extra time to achieve). Just ask it by e-mail...


How long will your banners be displayed?

Price are given for one month displaying. A preferential tariff is granted for a one year period.
You can also ask for banners for just a few days (for instance to announce an event by a time limited campaign).


Preferential display of a banner.

The principle is that each banner is displayed randomly, but you can decide your banner to be displayed more often. This can be done by changing the relative weight of your campaign by paying a little more money. Each banner has a relative weight between 1 and 9. Standard, the weight of "1" is given to each advertisement campaign
