The Vintage Malt Whisky Company

About the independent bottler

Vintage whisky malt company
The company was established in 1992 by Brian Crook, a former export director with one of Scotland’s major distillers. The Vintage Malt Whisky Company developed brands of single and pure malt scotches together with a range of Single Cask bottlings from many of Scotland’s finest distilleries. They now export to over 20 countries worldwide and in the year 2000, Finlaggan, their flagship single Islay Malt brand was awarded a gold medal at the prestigious International Wine & Spirit Competition.
The company takes great pride in the whiskies they select for their bottlings. Each cask is tasted by an experienced tasting panel of 4 people to decide whether the whisky is good enough to bear their name. As a result they only bottle a limited number of casks each year.
