Entering
this shop in the centre of Elgin gives a very strange feeling.
One could think finding exclusively whisky in there, as this
product gave the grocery of this little town in Scotland its international
fame .
Contrary to expectation, the grocery (upmarket) is still very busy.
The shop is divided in two parts. On the right hand, the grocery
and on the left, the wine and spirits department. And which department...
A great pleasure for the eyes (if not for the purse...)
Beside their activities as independent bottlers, Gordon & MacPhail also own a charming little distillery in Speyside: Benromach.

Whisky is an alcoholic drink. Let's prefer quality to quantity as the abuse of alcohol beverages can damage the health. Consuming alcoholic drinks during pregnancy, even in small quantities, can seriously affect the health of the child. Consumption of alcohol impairs your ability to drive a car or operate machinery, and may cause health problems.
