Voyages

Au cours de plusieurs voyages en Ecosse, j'ai eu l'occasion de rencontrer d'importants acteurs dans l'industrie du single malt. Entre autres responsables de distilleries ou d'embouteilleurs indépendants, j'ai beaucoup appris de Mark Reynier (Bruichladdich), Iain Henderson (Edradour), John Black (Tullibardine), Stewart Laing (Douglas Laing), Ruppert Patrick (à l'époque chez Ian MacLeod), Chris Gautier (Hart Brothers) et d'autres encore.

Notes de dégustation

Il y a plusieurs types de notes de dégustation.

  • des notes écrites par des professionnels (bien souvent la Maison du Whisky ou Dugas) .
  • mes propres notes qui sont entièrement personelles, et n'engagent que moi seul.
  • des notes de dégustation qui m'ont été envoyées par des visiteurs du site. Dans ce cas, elles sont clairement identifiées et leur auteur est mentionné. Ces notes n'engagent que leur auteur.

Photos

La plupart des photos sur ce site ont été prises au cours de mes voyages en Ecosse. D'autres m'ont été envoyées par des visiteurs du site, et je les en remercie vivement. Enfin, il reste quelques photos glanées çà et là sur internet, au cas où je ne disposais pas de mes propres images. Travel

A great source of inspiration is the discussions I have had with some major figures of the Scotch industry during trips I made in Scotland. Tasting notes

Different types of tasting notes are to be found in the site:

  • notes written by professionals (often from la Maison du Whisky ou Dugas)
  • my own personal notes which just commit myself
  • tasting notes sent by visitors of the site. In that case, they are clearly identified and their author is mentioned. This notes just commit their author.

Pictures

Most of the pictures on this site have been taken during one of my trips in Scotland.
Others were sent to me by visitors of the site, and I am very grateful for this.
A very small number of them has been borrowed from the web. If you recognize your pictures (and of course if you can prove they are yours) and you don't want them to be published here, please let me know and I'll remove them from the site.
