Ce site vous offre des informations générales sur le whisky écossais, sa fabrication, son histoire, et surtout des notes de dégustation concernant plus de 1200 bouteilles. Ces notes sont pour la plupart personnelles, mais une grande place est également faite aux visiteurs de ce site qui désirent partager leurs impressions à propos du whisky. Le nombre de bouteilles décrites est donc en constante évolution. Ce site abrite également un forum whisky très actif qui constitue une mine de renseignements concernant le whisky. N'hésitez pas à y participer.
This personal site is dedicated to Scottish distilleries and their single malt whisky. Or should I say "whiskey"? Whisky or whiskey ... What is the difference?
This site offers general information on Scotch whisky, its making, its history and especially you can find tasting notes on over 1200 bottles for now. These notes are mostly personal, but a great place is also made to the visitors of this website who wish to share their impressions about whisky. The number of described bottles is in constant evolution. This site also hosts a very active whisky forum (in French) which a wealth of information about the whisky. Feel free to participate. (the English version needs to be some more animated...).

Il y a plus de 100 distilleries sur ces cartes régionales et chacune d'elles est décrite sur ce site personnel (et totalement indépendant de l'industrie du whisky). Ces descriptions concernent l'histoire de la distillerie, de nombreuses photos et chacun des whiskies est clairement décrit par des notes de dégustation claires et compréhensibles.
Que la distillerie soit en activité, en sommeil ou définitivement fermée, elle sera listée dans le tableau des propriétaires de distilleries.

There are over 100 distilleries on regional maps and each is described on this personal (and completely independent of the industry whisky) web site. These descriptions concern the history of the distillery, with many photos and the whiksy is clearly described in clear and understandable tasting notes.
In operation Distillery, mothballed or permanently closed, it will be listed in the table of the owners of distilleries.
Les dégustations à l'aveugle dans le cadre des "Whisky-Distilleries Tasting Sessions" ont pour but de goûter des bouteilles proposées par les distilleries et les embouteilleurs indépendants et de produire des notes de dégustation aussi objectives que possible. Ces dégustations sont faites par un panel de connaisseurs de whisky (qui en sont à des stades d'expérience divers). Une équipe de 25 passionnés s'est engagée à participer régulièrement à ces sessions.
Ces notes sont publiées sur le site. Elles sont d'autant plus intéressantes qu'elles reflètent des goûts parfois divergents. En matière de whisky non plus, il n'y a pas de vérité absolue...

The blind tastings as part of the "Whisky-Distilleries Tasting Sessions" are intended to sample bottles provided by distilleries and independent bottlers and to produce as objective as possible tasting notes. These tastings are conducted by a panel of whisky connoisseurs (which are at various stages of experience), all members of the discussion forum hosted by the site. A team of 25 enthusiasts committed to regularly participate in these sessions.
These notes are published on the site. They are particularly interesting because they reflect sometimes conflicting tastes. In terms of whisky either, there is no absolute truth ...
